What is ordinary termination?

Ordinary termination of employment means termination of employment subject to a notice period. In accordance with the German Dismissal Protection Act (Kündigungsschutzgesetz - KSchG), a distinction is made between termination for operational reasons, termination for reasons of conduct and termination for personal reasons.
