Presentation of DUH's NOx measurements on various models in real driving conditions
The German environmental aid organization Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. (DUH) regularly carries out independent measurements to check the actual NOx levels of vehicles on the road and to review developments in the Fiat diesel scandal. This is also the case with Fiat Ducato models of the manufacturer FCA Italy S.p.A. from the Stellantis Group (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.). These measurements of the Emission Control Institute (EKI) of DUH still show that the actual nitrogen oxide emissions are significantly above the permitted limits.
The measured emissions even exceeded the permitted values of the vehicle affected by the diesel scandal by a factor of 16. In this context, DUH has already contacted the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) and demanded an official recall of the relevant models.
The table to be seen below illustrates the EKI's measurement results in relation to various vehicles of the Fiat Ducato model. The measurements illustrated were taken between October 2020 and April 2022 and show that, despite the diesel scandal becoming known, dirty diesel vehicles are still on the roads.
